Stratford Al Fresco

Say hello to Al Fresco - exploring the outdoors safely this summer starts on the patio.

There's a new way to dine in Stratford, enjoy all your local restaurants' dishes at outdoor seating in Market Square, Memorial Gardens and on Tom Patterson Island.

The Stratford Al Fresco project provides outdoor dining space, with umbrellas, for over 200 people and their take-away meals in Market Square, Memorial Gardens and on Tom Patterson Island - at a safe distance with hand sanitizer stations, additional waste and recycle receptacles, and signage.

NEW! Alcohol is now permitted in the Al Fresco locations if it is accompanied by food and has been purchased as takeaway from a Stratford restaurant. (BYOB is not permitted. The areas will be policed regularly by officers on bicycles.)

Alcohol is permitted only during the following hours:
Sunday to Thursday: 4PM - 7PM
Friday to Saturday: 11AM - 7PM

Also enjoy live outdoor performances throughout Stratford - music, theatre and more. Visit our event calendar for the latest cultural events and experiences.
